Every Player Has a Place to Shine.
Turning individual stars into one constellation.
INDIVIDUAL STARS. ONE CONSTELLATION.
Every player brings a different strength, personality, and role to the team. At DMV Stars, development is not about making every athlete identical.
It is about helping each player understand their strengths, improve their weaknesses, support their teammates, and become a dependable part of the whole.
We develop stars into all-stars — and eventually superstars.
Where every player begins. First touches, confidence on the ball, and a real love of the game.
★ Star
Technique sharpens and game sense grows. Players compete week in, week out and lead on the pitch.
★★★ All-Star
The top of our youth pathway — playing at the highest level and chasing the game as far as it’ll take them.
★★★★★ Superstar
★ Our North Star
Develop every child into a better player and a better person — and never lose the joy of the game along the way.
It’s the one belief that guides every coach, every session, and every decision we make at the club.
Reach for the stars.
Four marks of a Star
Every session has a purpose. We coach the small details — first touch, decisions, movement — that turn local talent into real players.
★ Develop
As our teams take shape, we’ll pursue meaningful competition and help players build a winning mindset. We focus on competing the right way — with effort, preparation, and respect for the game.
★ Compete
Every position matters — star in your role and the whole team shines. One crest across D.C., Maryland, and Virginia, where teammates come first and it always feels like family.
★ Represent
When you wear the stars, you carry the region with you. We play to make the DMV proud and to give back to the neighborhoods we come from.
★ Belong

COACH Mohammed “MOE”
Director of Player Development
Coach Moe is an accomplished former player whose career includes recognition as an NJCAA Division III First Team All-American, a national championship, and extensive collegiate, international, and high-level league experience. As a former team captain and league MVP, he brings proven leadership, tactical discipline, and a deep understanding of defensive and midfield play to every training environment. He played professionally in Paraguay and across several Gulf Arab countries, and is trilingual in English, Arabic, and Spanish — all of which he used throughout his professional playing career.
His coaching philosophy centers on developing technically sound, confident players with strong game awareness and professionalism. He emphasizes defensive organization, ball control, intelligent movement, communication, and decision-making, helping players understand not only how to perform a skill, but when and why to use it.
Coach Moe works closely with youth and competitive players to build strong technical and tactical foundations within a structured, positive, and high-energy environment. He is personally invested in each player’s growth and strives to help every athlete become a more capable player, a stronger teammate, and a confident leader prepared for the next level of the game.

Parent questions, answered
-
We field teams from U6 through U19 for both girls and boys, plus a dedicated goalkeeping program. Players are placed by age and ability, so every child is challenged at the right level — never thrown in too deep, never held back.
-
Absolutely. Our Youth Academy is built for first-timers, and no experience is needed to start. Plenty of our players begin simply wanting to try the game; our coaches take it from there and make sure those early sessions are all about fun and confidence.
-
Start by registering online. A club coordinator reaches out to set up a low-pressure trial session, then places your child with the right team. There’s no obligation to commit before you’ve seen us in action and met the coaches.
-
Fees vary by program and season, and we’ll walk you through the exact costs when we connect — no surprises. Payment plans and need-based scholarships are available, because we don’t want any child to miss out over cost.
-
It depends on the age group. Younger academy teams train less often, while older competitive squads train more and play games on weekends during the season. We’ll share the specific schedule for your child’s group so you can plan around it.
-
To get started, just cleats, shin guards, a size-appropriate ball, and a water bottle. Your child’s club kit — jersey, shorts, and socks — is sorted once they’re placed on a team.
-
Player safety comes first, always. Our standard is that every coach is background-checked and holds current youth coaching and safety certifications before they ever run a session. If you’d like to know more about a specific coach, just ask.
-
We use fields across the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area, grouped so families can train close to home where possible. Most matches are in local and regional leagues; older and more competitive squads may travel for select tournaments, always with plenty of notice for families.
